1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Qrynt ("Service"), operated by Qrynt ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. The service

Qrynt provides a text reconstruction and document structuring API that segments, classifies, and converts unstructured text into typed structured output. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue it at any time.

We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to the Service where practicable.

3. Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorisation. Each account is for a single user unless you are on a Team or Enterprise plan.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Process content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Transmit malicious code, malware, or harmful content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our source code
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
• Resell or sublicense API access without written permission
• Use the Service for purposes competitive with Qrynt without disclosure
• Process content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates third-party rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without notice.

5. API keys

API keys are issued per account and must be kept confidential. You are responsible for all requests made using your API keys.

• Do not share API keys publicly (e.g. in code repositories)
• Revoke and replace compromised keys immediately
• API keys are non-transferable
• We may revoke keys that are misused without prior notice

7. Your content

You retain all rights to the documents and text you submit to Qrynt. By submitting content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We do not use your content to train models, build datasets, or improve our systems. Processing is deterministic and your content is not retained beyond your session unless you have explicitly enabled document storage.

You represent that you have the rights to submit the content you process and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

The Qrynt Service, including its software, algorithms, documentation, and visual design, is owned by Qrynt and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except as expressly stated.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or complete. You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, QRYNT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or for any other reason with reasonable notice where practicable.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
